Things Do Happen Twice

THINGS DO HAPPENED TWICE

I am always facinated by coincidents. I am always wondering why things happened. There were some incidents that make me wonder why and how they happened. The following true incident is one of them:
On the 09.05.09, we had a Christian Family Fellowship cum dinner celebration. It was held at the Sandakan Yacht Club like the past years. After praise and worship we had buffet dinner. While having dinner, there was a lucky draw event. What facinates me was the fact that there was almost a repeat of what happened in 2007.

During the same celebration on the 01.04.2007, we had the same event at the same place. While having dinner, there was also a lucky draw event. One of my staff wanted to go back early and he gave my daughter his tickets for the lucky draw. Then one of the tickets was chosen to be the lucky winner. The prize was a lazy chair. The person who picked the ticket and gave away the prize was Mr Choo.

That night, on the 09.05.2009, a guest of mine gave his ticket to my daughter. Again Mr Choo (now a lawyer) was the one who pick the lucky number. The ticket given to my daughter was chosen to be the lucky winner, again, like the repeat of 2007. The prize was again a lazy chair. The person who gave away the prize was again Mr Choo. (He was the same Mr Choo who picked up the ticket and gave away the prize in 2007). It was at the same place.

I am convinced that the incident was not planned. It just happened. Events do happen twice, though not exactly the same. Why? How?And in this case, it happened in 2007 and again in 2009. In both incidents the tickets were given by friends. And in both incidents the tickets were picked up by Mr Choo. And in both the incidents, the lucky draw prizes were lazy chairs. Both the lazy chairs are still at our home till this day though the one won in 2007 is a little bit old.
